We have a village called Kirindon 20 minutes far from our camp by car/motorcycle and another one called Mara Rianta 30 minutes far where we do our groceries.
Our camp is located in the Mara North Conservancy, near the Mara River and the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Since there are no fences around the reserve, animals roam freely throughout the area. People living here coexist with the wildlife, and this relationship is built on mutual respect. While our camp is protected by electric fences, you’ll still have the opportunity to encounter giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and more just outside. Living in this environment comes with unique challenges, but it also offers a rare chance to experience nature up close.
